Gnome is a Desktop Enviroment developed for mac users who can't get used to being good at computers, so of course it's the main DE for YiffOS
To install Gnome using bulge, run bulge gi gnome. This will download Gnome and all of it's related packages.
Running gnome is tedious, I don't have it down to a formula, but it's along the lines of running gnome-shell --wayland, getting obscure error, reading up, repeat.
One common error is No GSettings schemas are installed on the system, to fix this, run glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/. Nine times out of ten, gnome will start.
For any other errors, please search for other sources. Simply pasting the command into google is enough for more errors, check journal for others might work as well. The purpose for this page is to get people closer to using YiffOS for actual use, not bring them all the way there.
